It’s been an incredible first week working my new position with the Daily World in Aberdeen, Washington. I couldn’t ask for nicer coworkers, and the area is pretty spectacular. It’s not the busiest town, and there sure isn’t as much going on as in Phoenix or Seattle, but the change of visuals is much needed and the new environment is wonderful to photograph. It rains a TON, more than I’ve ever dealt with before, but it shouldn’t be too hard to acclimate.
During my first week, I had the opportunity to photograph the big razor clam dig on Grayland Beach. Coming from the desert, this was an awesome experience.
